ONGOING CARE
Managing a child's ADHD, asthma, or anxiety in a traditional 15-minute appointment isn't care — it's triage. At Mitten Pediatrics, Dr. Sebastian has the time and the continuity to manage chronic conditions thoughtfully, adjust plans as your child grows, and stay in close communication with specialists and schools.
Because she knows your child — not just their chart — she catches things that get missed in fragmented care.
ADHD
Asthma
Allergic Rhinitis
Anxiety & Depression
Eczema
Chronic UTIs
Constipation & GI
Reflux (infant)
Sensory Issues
Sleep difficulties
Children with complex needs deserve more time, not less.
Complex conditions welcome.
If your child has a diagnosis requiring close follow-up, Dr. Sebastian welcomes the clinical relationship. She will coordinate alongside any specialists your child already works with — not replace them.
Ongoing care that moves as your child does
HOW IT WORKS IN PRACTICE
-
A proper first visit — with time to understand history, school context, and family dynamics.
-
Medication questions, school reports, behavioral updates — handled directly, not through a portal.
-
Warm referrals with clinical context, follow-up on specialist recommendations, and co-management when needed.
-
ADHD management at age 8 is not the same as at age 14. Plans evolve because Dr. Sebastian is watching closely.
PREVENTATIVE CARE
Well visits, done right
Preventive care is the foundation of pediatrics. Dr. Sebastian follows the AAP recommended well-child schedule — with appointments long enough to actually accomplish what they're supposed to.
Things families ask us
If you have a question that isn't answered here, we'd love to talk — a free meet & greet is the best place to get into specifics for your family.
-
Mitten Pediatrics operates as a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice — a flat monthly membership covers all primary care services, with no insurance billing for our visits. Many families use HSA or FSA funds for the membership fee (check with your plan). We encourage members to keep their existing insurance for specialist care, hospitalizations, labs, imaging, and medications.
-
Members reach Dr. Sebastian by text or phone directly. For same-day sick care, you can typically be seen the same day you reach out — often within hours. There's no phone tree, no waiting on hold, and no message routed through a call center. This is one of the clearest differences families notice immediately after joining.
-
Yes — sibling enrollment is common and welcome. The $250 enrollment fee is charged per family, with a sibling discount applied to all children in families of 2 or more. See our membership pricing page for full details on family enrollment.
Schedule a free 20-minute meet & greet with Dr. Sebastian — no commitment, no pressure. Come with your questions and see if Mitten Pediatrics is the right fit.
